This 6-day tour follows the footsteps of Lord Rama in Sri Lanka, exploring key sites related to the Ramayana. The journey begins in Colombo and takes you to Chilaw, Habarana, Trincomalee, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Bentota, and Galle before concluding back in Colombo.

Visit two Hindu Temples in Chilaw
Munishwaram Temple
A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is believed to be exist predates to the Ramayana. When Lord Rama visited here, a Shiva Lingam was already here. This visit was after the battle with King Ravana. He felt that he has committed Bramhaasthi Dosham as he killed a Brahmin. It is the first temple for Lord Shiva.
Manavari Temple
When the Lord Rama was passing here, he felt that the Bramhaasthi Dosham was following here, so got the advice from Lord Shiva. It is believed that this happened here. Lord Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised to install and pray four lingams. One of these four lingams was installed at Manayari near the banks of the Deduru Oya. Since it is the only remedy for the dosham, Lord Rama installed and prayed by the Lord Rama.

Trincomalee
There is a natural harbor which is located on the east coast of Sri Lanka. It is a peninsula, which divides the inner and outer harbours. It is renowned for its large size and the strategic location in the ocean routes. Surfing, scuba diving, whale watching are the activities among the visitors who come to Trincomalee.
Konesvaram temple
The temple is known as the temple of a thousand columns, which attracts many pilgrims from India. The road is heading to the temple was used to be the entrance to the Fort Fredrick. It was built by Portuguese in 1623 and it was used and expanded by the Dutch
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy
After breakfast transfer to Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights),
It is also called as “Little England” and with beautiful tea plantations. The British wanted to create it into a typical English Village due to the breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains. There is an old brick Post office, 18-hole golf course, horse race course.
Ramboda Hanuman Temple.
Sita Amman Temple
On one side of the temple the ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen. The pillars and statues depicted with tale of Rama and Sita. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel .
After breakfast at hotel in Nuwara Eliya transfer to Benthota
Benthota is a very famous holiday destination in the coastel belt of the Island.

After breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Galle City
Galle Fort
One of the eight world heritage sites in the country. The Portuguese built it during the 16th century to get the protection from the ancient Singhlese Kings. Then during the Dutsch period it was expanded to protect the fort from the seafarers as well. Now it is a vibrant old city with hotels, shops and the Gale International Cricket Stadium can be seen from the Rampart.
Rumassala
According to “Ramayana” one piece of Himalayan Mountain dropped here by Hanumantha. There are many medicinal herbs can be found here. It is a nestling forest for many anumal species.
After the Galle fort visit, transfer back to the hotel in Benthota, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast then transfer to the Airport for the departure flight. On the way visiting the Kelaniya Temple.
Kelaniya Temple. After King Ravana's death, Vibeeshana was coroneted as King of Lanka by Lakshmana at Kelaniya. There are murals enshrined outside the Buddhist temple depicting the crowning of Vibeeshana.
