Arrival at Colombo International Airport

Day 1 - Dambulla & Habarana

Arrival at Colombo International Airport, where you will complete Immigration & Custom formalities. You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Habarana. En route: Visit the Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caves, built by King Walagamba in the 1st century B.C., house over 150 images of Buddha and feature the largest area of painted walls and ceilings in the world.

Day 2 – Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, embark on a village safari in Hiriwaduna Village. The trek takes you along a bund of a man-made reservoir, offering glimpses of local wildlife, birdlife, and traditional village life.

Afternoon: Enjoy a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, known for its large elephant gatherings.

Day 3 –Polonnaruwa & Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day with a visit to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, the 2nd capital of Sri Lanka, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, and other significant ruins.

Afternoon: Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as the eighth wonder of the world. This ancient rock-shelter turned mountain monastery dates back over 7,000 years and was transformed into a royal palace by King Kasyapa between 477-495 AD.

Overnight Stay: Habarana

Day 4 – Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy.

En route: Visit a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka's famous spices and their cultivation.

In Kandy: Explore the city, the southern tip of Sri Lanka's 'Cultural Triangle,' and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses the relic of the Buddha's tooth.

Day 5 - Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya.

En route: Visit a tea plantation and factory to witness the production of world-renowned Ceylon tea. Enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's premier hill resort, known for its cool climate, tea estates, and colonial charm.

Day 6 – Yala National Park

After breakfast, depart for Yala.

Afternoon: Enjoy a thrilling safari in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's largest national park, home to elephants, leopards, and a variety of other wildlife.

Day 7 – Galle Fort

After breakfast, travel to Galle.

En route: Visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the fort's rich history, colonial architecture, and the scenic views of the Indian Ocean.

Then proceed to Beruwala

Day 8 - Departure from Sri Lanka

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Colombo International Airport for your departure.
